ABOUT BRIE:

Howdy y'all! I'm Brie Pinales.

#1: Big puffy clouds and blue skies.
#2: Sunsets.
#3: Lakes/Oceans/Rivers/Ponds/Swimming Pools (Pretty much put me in/near water and my heart is happy.
#4: Rainbows.
#5: Music. All the music. But mostly all the music from the 1930s-1970s.
#6: Elvis & The Beatles.
#7: Making things. Any things.
#8: Learning new things. Which has led to a very long list of hobbies I love.
#9: Singing. Still working on being able to sing in front of people without having an anxiety attack.
#10: Food. All the food.
#11: Sparkly things.
#12: Organizing. (Staying organized is a completely different story, however.)
#13: Planning things. Weddings. Vacations. Dream homes. Parties. Picnics. Anything that needs planning or logistics figured out . . .  gets me excited!
#14: Taking pictures. Of everything.
#15: Theater. It was my first love.
#16: Traveling. Definitely need to do this one more!

And I'm sure there's many more things to add to the list. But I think this is good for now. ;)

I am a single mom of three kids. We do everything together, which hopefully will last through the teenage years, though I'm not counting on it. haha! We love going on new adventures and doing things together. Whether it's yoga, singing in the car, going to concerts, cooking or putting on our Art Club that we've organized for their friends, or watching our favorite shows: Castle and Once Upon a Time.

I am a graphic designer. I currently work for Teresa Collins and absolutely LOVE what I do. She is the best! Before that, I did production design for My Mind's Eye and before that I did advertising design for a local chain of craft stores, Roberts Crafts. I've been very blessed to have worked with amazing people in the crafting industry! I'm so grateful for the path life has led me down.

My personal "motto" is: LIVE LIFE FOR THE ADVENTURE. Which I try to do every day.

Jupiter and the Moon is all about my love of EVERYTHING. From party planning to food, from making all kinds of crafts and projects to outdoor adventures, from graphic design to interior design to photography, floral design to jewelry design, I love it ALL! Especially the sharing and making new friends through my hobbies.

The name JUPITER AND THE MOON comes from my kids. I always tell them I love them to the moon and back, and their response is always "I love you 2,000 times around Jupiter!"
